Independence Day in Central Illinois

Many communities have Independence Day celebrations set. Although fireworks are a much anticipated highlight, remember that not everyone is excited to see the display. Many animal and small children are afraid of the noise.

Make sure you have a safe, quiet (as possible) place for your pets. Small children should be made aware that there will be loud noise before the fireworks start. Be sure to be close to them if they need to "hide" with you.

Also, please be considerate of those around you. Remember to pick up your belongings and trash. Be responsible, be safe, and be healthy.
